Price Wars Continue! TCM Guts Prices on Improved TopCare Cylinders

Looking For A Bargain?

Teledyne Continental Motors is definitely doing its part to reach out to aviators trying to keep themselves in the air despite the problems of a troublesome economy and an overtly anti-aviation regulatory scene.

Proof of that is TCM's announcement that it has lowered its prices on an improved line of TopCare Cylinders. TCM tells ANN that their objective in all this 'continues to be to improve the value of its product to the customer, which is reflected in improvements to the cylinder manufacture, durability, maintenance costs, and purchase price.'

"Today we again tout Continental Motors. commitment to continuous product development and improvement without adding additional cost to the airplane owner," said Rhett Ross, TCM President. "Our efforts to improve quality and reduce manufacturing costs continue to allow us to pass value and savings to our customers," Ross (pictured below) concluded.

Improvements to TCM's TopCare Cylinders include improved cylinder head castings, advanced cylinder wall honing, enhanced valve insert materials, computerized valve seat finishing, and improved corrosion protection. TopCare Cylinders will continue to come with an extensive 3 Year, 1000 Hour Warranty. Teledyne Continental Motors remains a leading designer, developer, and manufacturer of new and rebuilt piston engines; ignition systems; electronic engine controls; and spare parts for the GA industry.
