Plus Pending STC For G600 RVSM For Bendix Equipped Citation 500s
JETTECH unveiled two new initiatives for equipping Legacy Citations with new Garmin G600 “Glass Panel” EFIS instrumentation at the AEA convention Wednesday.
The first initiative is an amendment to their existing STC which will allow a dual Garmin G600 with RVSM installation for single pilot (SP) Citation 501 and 551 aircraft. This addition compliments the original STC for single Garmin G600 “Glass Panel” EFIS installation modifications specifically for Cessna Citation 500 series aircraft to include models 500, 501, 550, 551 and S550. This installation includes aircraft equipped with the Sperry autopilot.
The second initiative involves a pending FAA STC to install single Garmin G600 instruments with RVSM on Model 500 Citations equipped with the Bendix FGS-70 autopilot. This STC, when approved, will cover early Citations up to serial number 275. JETTECH is the only provider of RVSM for this aircraft model.
With the FAA approval, JETTECH will begin offering kits available through JETTECH approved Garmin authorized dealers. A complete documentation package is supplied to support the installation process.
“After we introduced the single G600 STC’d installation, we received numerous requests for a dual install for the 501 and 551 SP models” said Rob Irwin, founder and member/manager of JETTECH. “Add to this our pending STC for the early pre-275 serial numbered Citation 500’s, owners and operators now have the ability to acquire this new and exciting technology for these Legacy Citation aircraft.” In addition to the Garmin G600 STC Install for Legacy Citations, JETTECH previously announced a Garmin G600 RVSM STC Award for Cheyenne III, IIIA & 400LS. Currently, JETTECH has a pending STC to install the New Garmin GTN 650/750 “Touch Screen” series GPS for the Citation 500 series that includes WAAS approvals.
