Sonex Intro's Sub-Kits for Xenos Motorglider

Pricing/Option Changes Make Sonex and Waiex Sub-Kits 'More Affordable'

Sonex Aircraft tells ANN that it has expanded its Sub-Kit product line to include the Xenos Motorglider. Like Sonex and Waiex Sub-Kits, Xenos Sub-Kits are designed to give builders more flexibility and options for constructing these aircraft kits.

Sonex notes that 'Sub-Kits' allow potential builders to get started with a minimal initial investment and gives them a great opportunity to see for themselves the level of detail and simplicity designed into Sonex Aircraft. Once this building path is selected, the builder may purchase the remaining individual Sub-Kits at their own pace as time and resources allow, and is a great way to amortize construction costs without the need for financing.

Also like Sonex and Waiex Sub-Kits, Xenos Tail Kit builders will be eligible to receive a bulk purchase discount when buying all remaining Xenos Sub-Kits in a single purchase. For the Xenos, which is a larger kit, this bulk purchase discount is increased to $3,000.  For many builders who wish to use a Tail Kit to preview Sonex Aircraft kits, this Bulk Purchase Discount incentive narrows the gap between the cost of a Complete Airframe Kit and the cost of Sub-Kit building. Although the best value for dollar in the aircraft market today remains the Complete Airframe Kits offered for the Sonex, Waiex, and Xenos (Savings are realized in large kit discounts, incentives, and shipping costs for a one time purchase) Sonex Aircraft, LLC anticipates that Xenos Sub-Kits will be popular for those wishing to ease their way into the project without making a full commitment to the aircraft up-front.

Additionally, Sonex Aircraft has announced pricing changes for Sonex and Waiex Sub-Kits, making them even more affordable. Machined Angle Kit components are now an optional upgrade for Sonex and Waiex Fuselage and Wing Sub-Kits. For those not interested in using these CNC machined kit upgrade parts, they can now be omitted from Sonex Aircraft Sub-Kits, offering lower Sub-Kit pricing. This change has also been extended to the new Xenos Motorglider Sub-Kits as well.
