Avidyne Announces STC Of Entegra Release 9 In Cirrus SR20/SR22 Aircraft

STC Approval Allows For Immediate Retrofit Installations

Avidyne has added another feather in their cap with the receipt of an STC approval for their new Entegra Release 9 Integrated Flight Deck (IFD) system for retrofit into Cirrus SR20 and SR22 aircraft.

This STC certification comes just days after Avidyne received Technical Standard Order Approval (TSO) approval for the Entegra Release 9 suite, and Avidyne has already announced plans to pursue additional STCs for the Piper PA-46 line.

"This STC marks a significant milestone in the Entegra Release 9 development program," said Patrick Herguth, Avidyne's Chief Operating Officer.

"Our production line is already up to speed and we are shipping product for installations that are scheduled to begin next week. Release 9 is designed to dramatically enhance safety and increase the utility of these aircraft for IFR operations, and we look forward to delighting our customers with this innovative new system."

"Now that we have received this STC, we are all set to deliver on our vision for a next-generation flight deck system that is much simpler and easier to use than anything else available in aviation," said Avidyne president Dan Schwinn.
