New Location Launched Friday
Cirrus Design announced Friday the opening of Cirrus Greece, the
first Cirrus sales center in the country.
"The accelerating economy in Greece, great weather conditions
and numerous island destinations provide an ideal environment for
Cirrus' expansion in this market" said Managing Director of Cirrus
International, John M. Bingham. "Cirrus Greece will provide
personal transportation solutions and expand the utility of general
aviation into the region by showcasing only the highest quality
aircraft in the country."
The sales center will be based in Athens and Cirrus aircraft
will soon be available for product demonstrations along with a
staff of trained Cirrus sales representatives who will provide the
Cirrus transition training. Initially, neighboring approved Cirrus
service centers will provide maintenance for customers and the
Cirrus Greece facility until a local service center is established
in the very near future.
"As the designated Cirrus Design Sales and service provider for
the region, our main goal at Cirrus Greece will be to drive the
sales growth and market representation of the Cirrus product line
and inspire the development and improvement of the Greek general
aviation market," said Roberto Alchanatis, Managing director of
Cirrus Greece. "With Cirrus' excellent quality aircraft and an
offering of innovative ownership structures, we hope to make
general aviation more accessible and affordable to Greek
pilots."
To kick off the introduction of this new International Sales
Center, Cirrus Greece will participate in ICARUS 2008, the general
aviation exhibition of Southern Europe, which will be held in
Athens on June 13-15, 2008. Demonstration flights will be offered
and Cirrus sales representatives will be available to meet and
greet potential and existing customers at the event.
Cirrus International, part of Cirrus Design, plans to continue
its rapid expansion of International Sales Centers such as Cirrus
Greece around the world over the coming months of 2008, and
beyond.
