TSA Manager Caught Running Alleged Prostitution Operation

Had Been The Focus Of Similar Complaints In 2009

Running a prostitution ring is never a good thing, but maybe even less so when your day job is with the federal government. A TSA manager a Dulles International Airport found that out when he was arrested this week on prostitution charges, and fired from his job.

The manager, identified as 39-year-old Bryant Jermaine Livingston of Manassas, VA, told television station WTTG in Washington that he is innocent of the charges.

Livingston is accused of setting up motel rooms and taking money for people to have sex. On February 15th, he had rented a room at a Crowne Plaza Hotel in Silver Spring, MD, which he had done before. In both instances, the manger said she had observed several men and women entering and exiting the room Livingston had rented. The manager called police, and they went to stop the activity. At the door to the room, Livinston denied that the activity was prostitution, and invited the manager and the officer into the room. There, they found 11 people in the room in various states of undress.

Later, in the hallway, Livingston said he "runs the airport security at Dulles."

Not any more, according to TSA. A spokesperson confirmed Livingston had been an employee, but is "no longer employed by TSA."

"TSA cooperated fully with law enforcement during their investigation into this matter," the agency said in a statement. "The allegations against this individual are unacceptable and in no way reflect the integrity and professionalism of the more than 50,000 security officers who strive every day to ensure the security of the traveling public.”

One of the men found in the room on February 15th later told authorites that he had paid $100 to join the activities in the room. A similar charge from 2009 against Livingston was discovered in which he had taken $25 for a what Montgomery County, MD, police called "sexual acts." TSA did not comment on what action, if any, it took in that case.

Livingston is charged with five counts of prostitution.
