XOJET Follows Up CAE Citation X Training With Challenger 300 Contract

New Jersey Facility To Include Full-Flight Simulator

CAE announced this week at NBAA 2008 that XOJET has chosen CAE's business aviation training facility in Morristown, NJ for the initial training of its new fleet of Bombardier Challenger 300 aircraft.

XOJET placed a record order last year for up to 80 Bombardier Challenger 300 jets, including options. As ANN reported, the company's first Challenger 300 aircraft has just entered into service.

A new Challenger 300 full-flight simulator is scheduled to enter into service at the center later this year to support the training as well as CAE's Authorized Training Provider (ATP) agreement with Bombardier.

"We chose CAE because it is facilitating our growth and providing us with flexible, customized training solutions, allowing us to ensure our high level of safety is maintained as we bring our new aircraft into our operation," said David Cox, XOJET's Vice-President, Operations. "CAE has integrated itself into our training culture, ensuring the highest quality of pilot training, and its employees have been going out of their way to accommodate us. We appreciate the quality of the facilities, the technology, and the instructors."

"We've enjoyed working with XOJET's excellent pilots and we are happy to partner once again with them as they grow their business," said Jeff Roberts, CAE's Group President, Innovation and Civil Training & Services. "We are committed to continually listen to the needs of our clients and to provide them with tailored solutions."

CAE has provided recurrent training for XOJET's Citation X pilots at its CAE SimuFlite facility in Dallas, TX for the past two years.
