Honeywell's New HTF7350 Engine To Power Bombardier Challenger 350

HTF7000 Series Surpasses 1.5 Million Flight Hours With Better Than 99 Percent Dispatch Reliability

Honeywell has announced that its HTF7350, the latest engine to join its successful HTF7000 series, will power Bombardier's new Challenger 350 super midsize business jet. In addition to the HTF7350, Honeywell will supply Bombardier with its 36-150 APU, which is currently on the Challenger 300 aircraft, and its Inertial Navigation System and Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning System (EGPWS) database.

Bombardier Launches Challenger 350 Super Midsize Bizjet

NetJets Announced As Worldwide Launch Customer

Bombardier Aerospace announced Monday that it has expanded its Challenger family of business jets with the addition of the new Challenger 350 aircraft. The Challenger 350 jet was launched with NetJets as the worldwide launch partner at a special event at the European Business Aviation Conference and Exhibition (EBACE) in Geneva, Switzerland. Deliveries of the aircraft are expected to begin in 2014.

A Navy Pilot, missing from the Vietnam War, has been accounted-for and was buried with full military honors along with his crew. According to the Department of Defense POW/Missing Personnel Office (DPMO), Navy Lt. Dennis W. Peterson, 28, of Huntington Park, CA, was the pilot of a SH-3A helicopter that crashed in Ha Nam Province, North Vietnam.
