Nice Way to Close 2011 -- Bombardier Adds Five Challenger 850 Orders

Undisclosed Customer Buys Mach 0.80 BizJets

Bombardier Aerospace has announced that it closed the year with a firm order for five Challenger 850 jets from an undisclosed customer. The total value of the order is approximately $156 million US, based on the 2011 list price for typically equipped aircraft. The Bombardier Challenger 850 is the largest super-mid size business aircraft currently offered by Bombardier Aerospace and is based on Bombardier's 50-seat CRJ200LR. The transcontinental bizjet is capable of accommodating 15-19 passengers.
